Daewangam Songnim

Or less impressively – the pine forest. This is a peninsular jutting out into the East Sea (Sea of Japan), next to Ilsan beach, in Dong-gu, with wonderful views. Legend has it that Queen Munma, who ruled  the Silla Region (which lasted from 57BC till 935AC!) one of the Three Kingdoms of Korea, became a Guardian Dragon after she died, which is why the rock at the end does not have any seaweed growing on it.

looks a brilliant day out. I bet everyone was just a little tired by the end, and so many pine cones. And Thanks for all the photos included, really nice to see them.

Teee-heeee! And in answer to the shoes question: no I didn’t, I was wearing the correct sho last time but not the right socks. This time it was the other way round. To be honest, not sure I will ever wear those walking shoes again!
Glad you like the blog. 🙂
