Weather changed plans for the better.

Yesterday we had planned to take my two and their cousin into London to see the winter wonderland in Hyde Park, but the day dawned wet and grey – certainly not the weather for an outside activity.

So instead we took them to an indoor soft-playframe, so Gregor, in particular, could burn off some energy. We then went on a Christmas baking spree, with cheesy Christmas song rocking in the background.

Katrine and Gregor getting stuck in with their cousins, the major benefit of being back in the uk.

Christmas fairy cakes, marshmallow snowmen and melting snowmen.

We then made a start on the Rudolf fairy cakes, Gregor liked the icing.

We all had a lot more fun than we would have heading into London, so I am very pleased the weather forced us to change our plans.
