Here be dinosaurs

Today we went a bit out of Ulsan, only 45 minute drive, to find some dinosaur footprints and the petroglyphs in Bangudae – which is one of the twelve scenic sights of Ulsan.

We had a brilliant day exploring prehistoric Korea and you got a real sense of the timescales. How cool is it to walk in the footprints of dinosaurs? It would be lovely to come back when the trees are in leaf, but there is a strong possibly that everything will be underwater then!

This looks like so much fun! I’ll have to check it out sometime.

Don’t leave it too late or it will all be underwater and you will have to wait till winter again. Cherry blossom predicted this weekend – are you back in time?

I’ll be back Wednesday night. But I think we are going to Seoul this weekend. I have mixed feelings about the blossoms being early this year. On one hand, it’s warmer than usual, but we have a trip to Kyoto planned to see them in early April and it looks like they might all be gone!

So interesting, but it’s not fair! no coats while we are wet and freezing! Perhaps the ‘frog spawn’ is dino… `na.
