Herb Castle

Last week I went to a birthday lunch to Herb Castle, a restaurant/shop/cabins, between Ulsan and Gyeongju (heading out on the road past costco, keep going till you see the Herb Castle sign, about half an hours drive).

The restaurant is nestled in the mountains and has it own beautiful gardens surrounding it.

IMG_1751Inside there is a shop selling candles and other fancy items (though you can get a fair few of the same things at Guam for cheaper.)

The food was really good and you have to give extra points for presentation.

It was a very nice place to go for a special occasion meal.

Hi You have a wonderful blog, I very much enjoy it. We have a mutual friend, Chris and Gus Mellon. I work on the Diamond projects at the HHI yard. Sorry to bother you but I have been looking for the baking supply shop that you mentioned in an earlier blog and cannot find it. Do you have an address for it? With Kind Regards Ken Lovasz

I love Herb Castle! The colors of the buildings are so captivating. I have 2 friends visiting next week so I’m hoping we can get to Herb Castle for lunch. I had the “chicken steak” last time, but definitely want to try the beef pilaf next.
